Please comment here if you plan to submit a story or artwork for this issue. Artists should specify whether you're submitting a standalone piece, offering to illustrate a story, or doing both. Artists offering to illustrate should provide either links to or thumbnails of past works as examples of style; writers wishing to collaborate with artists (or artists wishing to collaborate with writers) should respond directly to comments to this post. As always, you don't have to sign up to participate, and you're not creating an unbreakable contract by signing up, but it's always a good idea!
The theme for this issue is Short Shorts: Fix us your one perfect bite!
We've done this before, all the way back in Bang*Bang #14, so we're bringing it back, twelve years and seventy issues later.
The guidelines are pretty simple: The story, not including title, must still be at least 1500 words long. However, the upper bound has been lowered from 25,000 to 3500 words. Inside of this, you can write any kind of m/m, f/f, or otherwise queer arrangements that you like -- so long as it's still explicit and there's at least one good sex scene. At 3500 words, the whole thing might be the sex scene!
It must, however, still be an actual story. Don't make it sound like you just cut a piece out of a larger work -- whatever you submit here has to be able to be appreciated in isolation.
The usual rules cap submissions at one per author per issue. However, since these are so short, we're opening it up for this issue: Authors may submit up to two stories. Artists are still invited to submit standalone illustrations, and as always, may illustrate as many stories as they please.
